Frequently asked questions

How can I try the app right now?

On iPhone: download Blackbox from the App Store, it's live. On Android: leave your Gmail address (the one on your phone) in the form and we send you beta access as soon as a slot opens.

Does Blackbox handle the money?

No. Payments happen as usual (cash, bank transfer, Lydia…) outside the app. Blackbox records who paid what, and the treasurer confirms it.

Who can add a fine?

Sheriffs and the manager. Roles are set by the team manager, and every fine is visible to everyone.

What is a season?

An accounting period, usually the sports year. At the end, the manager closes it and the next season starts from zero.

How does my team join?

You generate a QR code or an invite link from the app. Your teammates create their account with their email, no password needed.

Is my data protected?

Yes. Your data stays your team's data, is never sold and is hosted in line with the GDPR. See the Privacy Policy.

How much does it cost?
